  1. BA/MA Program. Yale College undergraduate students of extraordinary ability who are interested in pursuing advanced research in political science may undertake graduate work for the simultaneous award of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

  6. What steps should I follow? The Department in rare and exceptional instances will nominate an undergraduate major in the fall semester of their junior for consideration for admission by Yale College and Yale Graduate School to the simultaneous B.A./M.A. program.

  7. M.A. in History (terminal). The Department of History offers a one-year terminal master’s degree in history. To receive the degree, students must pass seven term courses, four of which must be in History.
