My source is an Emotiva DC-1 DAC, which I preferred in A/B testing with a Wyred4Sound DAC2 as having a more relaxed presentation than the Sabre-based DAC2, although I'm casting a suspicious eye on it nowadays in a world where SINAD now reigns as a leading measurement of DAC performance.

Vor 2 Tagen · I’m used to reviewing portable DAC/Amps but was thrown for a loop when the package with the iFi Audio iDSD Diablo 2 arrived. It was heavy and large. Once opened, the DAC inside was beautiful. And, as I found out when listening, a terrific piece of equipment for either a desktop or for travel. I wasn’t quite prepared for the Diablo 2.
Vor 4 Tagen · I just purchased an Emotiva XDA-2 dac to hook-up to my windows 7 computer via usb. I get no playback from MC 18 (version 18.0.212), when I try to playback I get an error message saying that it could not start on the WASAPI output using 44.1 kHz 16 bit 2ch (see attached log file).
