Favorite opening scene? I hope this comes through. LOTR the Fellowship might be my favorite. I know there are other great ones out there (Patron maybe?) Despite the fact that Riefenstahl was a Nazi, Olympia (1938) has the best opening imo. Despite the fact it’s communist propaganda, Pudovkin’s A Simple Case (1932) is second. 🤷♂️.
