Dalton revealed that he had initially signed a three-film contract, and a third movie was in the works, but it was scrapped because of the lawsuits. Dalton declined the opportunity to return as Bond in another movie when he was asked to sign a longer contract, leading to Pierce Brosnan taking on the role.
Craig and it’s not close. Craig is probably 5’10 and 195 pounds of compact muscle. Dalton is 6’2 and looks 155 pounds. More realistic for an assassin though on the road 300 days a year. All they do is run, pushups airsquats sit ups. Dalton. He had a focused vision of what he wanted to achieve and he achieved it.
