Malcolm Green (born 25 January 1953) is an English-born drummer best known as a member of New Zealand band Split Enz from 1976 to 1981. Green replaced Emlyn Crowther as Split Enz's drummer in London in 1976, winning an audition over ex-Sparks drummer Dinky Diamond.

Mal Green was appointed Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Buenos Aires in November 2017. Previously he was Deputy Head of Mission and Consul at the British Embassy in Santiago from September 2013.
Prior to moving to South America, Mal worked at the UK’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. In London, Mal has covered Security Policy and European Union policy in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
