Triumvirat was a progressive rock band formed in 1969 in Cologne, Germany by keyboardist Hans- Jürgen Fritz, bassist Werner "Dick" Frangenberg, and drummer/lyricist Hans Bathelt. Frangenberg left in 1970 and was replaced by Hans Pape.
