Calday Grange Grammar School is an 11–18 non-denominational, academically selective, boys' grammar school, founded in 1636, situated on Caldy Hill in Grange, a suburb of West Kirby on the Wirral peninsula, England.
We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds, and we strive to create a diverse and inclusive community. To be considered for a place at Calday, students must complete and pass the 11+, which assesses their academic ability in key subjects.

Founded in 1636 on Caldy Hill in Grange, Calday Grange Grammar School holds the distinction of being the oldest surviving grammar school in Wirral. The school's rich history is reflected in its esteemed alumni, who span across various fields including literature, sports, science, and even include a recipient of the Victoria Cross.
Calday Grange Grammar School has served the community of Wirral since 1636. We currently offer a free, grammar school education to nearly 1400 students, with approximately 200 boys in each of Years 7 to 11 and a mixed Sixth Form of nearly 500 students.
