The Moog Cookbook was an American electronic duo consisting of Meco Eno (Roger Manning) and Uli Nomi (Brian Kehew). The project was a parody of and tribute to the novelty Moog records of the late 1960s and early 1970s, which featured cover versions of popular songs using the then-new Moog synthesizer .
Brian Kehew (born September 22, 1964) is an American musician and record producer. He is a member of The Moog Cookbook and co-author of the Recording The Beatles book, an in-depth look at the Beatles' studio approach.
The band, two spacemen named Meco Eno (Brian Kehew) and Uli Nomi (Roger Manning), came out onto the stage to the sound of Gleeman Pentaphonics rendering a majestic introduction to the Weezer hit single "Buddy Holly". 1. Jan. 2016 · The Moog Cookbook (a.k.a. Meco Eno and Uli Nomi) are crazy guys obsessed with vintage synths and keyboards. One of them is actually Roger Manning formely of pomp-poppers Jellyfish, and currently Beck's right hand man. This album is one of the most entertaining I own.
