Michael Pfaff, also known as Tortilla Man, is an American musician and percussionist for Slipknot. He joined the band in 2019 after the departure of Chris Fehn and became a full-time member in 2022.

Michael Pfaff (born May 17, 1980) also known as New Guy or Tortilla Man joined the band in 2019. He replaced Chris Fehn, who left the band in March 2019.
He was known for being the keyboard player for Shawn Crahan's other band Dirty Little Rabbits before joining Slipknot with the two being introduced to each other by DJ Sid Wilson.
After longtime percussionist Chris Fehn was Dismissed from the Slipknot due to his legal action against the band. Clown called and invited Michael Pfaff while he was working his day job to fill the 9th position.
Like other new members Jay Weinberg and Alex Venturella, his identity was kept a secret due to him only being a touring member of the band at the time. He was quickly nicknamed Tortilla Man by fans due to the design of his mask, which looked similar to a tortilla. However, fans on Reddit later identified him as Michael Pfaff by the way he moves on stage, his height, and the fact that he is bald. On March 16, 2022, Slipknot officially revealed Tortilla Man's identity to be Michael Pfaff.
2019 - made from a mold of his own head. The mask is turned inside out, with extra latex on it, and painted to look sick, with a zipper mouth. Jim Ojala applied the fabrications to the mask. this mask was worn throughout the We Are Not Your Kind cycle
2022 - similar to his 2019 mask. A few changes were made with mutiple varients. all new varients had bigger eye slits and a more sinister expression for his mouth. most used varients typically had a grin or a frown and sometimes a white mask rather than the tortilla color. theses masks were worn throughout The end so far album cycle.
•His mask has been through several changes with holes being added to each side of the head and the neck portion being removed.
•Fans complained about the sound of Michael's vocals during early 2019 performances but in 2020 fans have noticed an improvement on his vocals, especially during "Nero Forte".
•There was speculations that someone else wore his mask in the Unsainted music video, but it was actually Pfaff wearing clown's coveralls in the video.
•Pfaff graduated with a college degree in music at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and also holds a masters degree in music from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
