7. Okt. 2023 · The band, which supposedly was founded in 1978, performed icy synthesizer anthems... Unfortunately, the Eastern Bloc act was forced to go underground after guitarist Rod Cervera was imprisoned for alleged espionage activities. After 12 years in prison, Cervera was released.

Mai 2024 · Debbie Diament (Magpie) Supersport 2000 (previously known as Magpie and Starhustler) were a pop-rock band that rose alongside Weezer and other similar acts in the 1990's Los Angeles alternative rock scene. Band members Rod Cervera, Cherielynn Westrich, and Mike Fletcher were also a part of Matt Sharp 's side project the Rentals .

Guitarist Rod Cervera is also quite an interesting talent. While he does often dominate the album with his incredibly distorted guitar work, he doesn't really shine.
