Patrick Bourque. MONTREAL - Patrick Bourque, former bass player for the Canadian country music band Emerson Drive, has died suddenly at his home, the band's publicist announced Wednesday. Emerson Drive was originally known as 12 Gauge when it started out in Grande Prairie, Alta., in 1995.
