1. März 2022 · In 1980, I heard him live with the Capp-Pierce Juggernaut at a dinner-dance held in a huge, echoing space at a Hollywood film studio. Singing to an audience interested only in non-musical matters, he performed with flair and matchless enthusiasm, as did the band, and the occasion remains a treasured memory.
