Lightwave is the ambient music project of keyboardists Christoph Harbonnier and Christian Wittman, founded in 1984 in Paris, France. They have collaborated with a plethora of artists, such as Hector Zazou, Michel Redolfi, Jon Hassell and Paul Haslinger.

LIGHTWAVE is a French electronic duo, founded initially as a trio in 1985 by Serge LEROY, Laurent BOZECK and Christian WITTMAN and reformed in 1988 by Christoph HARBONNIER and Christian WITTMAN.
Since their inception in October 2021, Lightwave have already exploded into the alternative scene and are making some waves of their own with their own blend of infectious pop-driven bubblegum metal.
