The music video for "Curious" was released the same day as the single, January 11, 2018. Before the release, Kiyoko spent several weeks uploading cryptic photographs to her social media accounts. The singer premiered the video on both MTV's Total Request Live and her own YouTube channel. Kiyoko co-directed the video with James Larese.
