Stomp 442 is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released in 1995 by Elektra Records. The band and the Philadelphia -based producers Butcher Brothers produced the album, which includes the singles, "Fueled" and "Nothing".
Seine Gitarrenaufnahmen wurden im Studio von Schlagzeuger Charlie Benante, Dimebag Darrell und dem Gitarren-Roadie Paul Crook übernommen. Als Produzenten fungierten die Brüder Joe und Phil Nicolo unter dem Pseudonym Butcher Brothers, die bereits für Cypress Hill, Aerosmith und Urban Dance Squad tätig waren.

And while you can’t go wrong with any of his appearances on Anthrax’s album, we often find that “Riding Shotgun” off of Stomp 442 is often overlooked.

I was impressed by Scott Ian and Dimebag Darrell's guitar playing, and was even more impressed at Frank Bello and Charlie Benante. And then came John Bush, who I was still warming up to. And this album broke, or should I say, fucking destroyed the ice.
