Eric Leeds is an American saxophone player, mostly known for his work with Prince. He has recorded mostly music in the pop and funk genres, but is a studied jazz musician.
Eric Leeds is an American saxophone player who contributed to various Prince projects from 1985 to 2003. His older brother is Alan Leeds , long time Prince tour manager and later president of Paisley Park records.
5. Mai 2015 · When Leeds was later appointed to play with Prince official, he wasn’t just hired to fire out riffs, he became one of the key soloists in his band, and his unmistakable jazz-meets-JBs influence would play a dominant role in Prince’s music for the remainder of the decade.
The albums were accompanied by in-depth liner notes by Prince's longtime tour manager, Alan Leeds. Incredibly, all three versions of the album — the full box set, and the individual The Hits 1 and The Hits 2 releases — debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, where it remained for 18 weeks.
