Dave Markee (born March 1943, Haxey, North Lincolnshire, England) is an English musician, songwriter, guitarist, bass player and producer, as well as pastor, businessman and entrepreneur. Session bassist for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading, The Who, Henry Mancini, and Bing Crosby.
From playing stadium gigs with Eric Clapton to leading worship in settings large and humble, DAVE MARKEE has done it all. The rock industry veteran spoke to Stuart Dearsley.
The album Sample and Hold was recorded for Virgin Records in 1983 by Haycock, Cooper, and George Glover, with a rhythm section composed of the session musicians Dave Marquee and Henry Spinetti. A follow-up album was in the works, but Cooper bowed out, citing personal reasons.

Chappo ist das erste Soloalbum von Roger Chapman. Es erschien in Deutschland 1979 auf dem kurzlebigen Acrobat Records -Label, das vor allem für seine Produktionen des britischen Duos Dollar bekannt war und in Deutschland von der EMI Electrola vertrieben wurde. Das Erstlingswerk wird dem Genre des Rock & Blues zugerechnet.
