Blues. Blues ist eine vokale und instrumentale Musikform, die sich um die Wende vom 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert in der afroamerikanischen Gesellschaft der USA entwickelt hat. Der Blues bildet die Wurzel eines Großteils der populären Musik; Jazz, Rock, Rock ’n’ Roll und Soul sind nah mit dem Blues verwandt.
Im Blues werden nur die Akkorde der I., IV. und V. Stufe verwendet! Sehen wir uns nun die Reihenfolge dieser Stufen im 12-taktigen Blues an. Bluesschema in A-Dur: Du spielst also vier Takte lang die erste Stufe, dann zwei Takte lang die vierte Stufe usw. Wir wollen nun unseren Blues auch in andere Tonarten transponieren.
