Sindi Benezra Valsamis. Profile: Sindi Valsamis (Born August 14, 1965) is the former guitarist for the New York punk band lunachicks from 1987 to 1997. Was married to Mitro Valsamis.
Sindi Benezra, an acquaintance of Silver, was asked to join shortly after. They rehearsed and wrote material in Gina's bedroom for about a year. Their first composition, the lengthy "Theme Song", was about killing Kogan's and Silver's English teacher. The band played their first show in 1988 with Theo's then-boyfriend Mike on the drums.
