Touring, In the Sun, Mega Dis and break-up. Bomb the Bass spent most of 2011 and 2012 touring and recording their next album with drummer Christian Eigner.
Always one to surprise, Tim Simenon's Bomb the Bass project dominated dancefloors in 1987 with the kinetic, sample-heavy single "Beat Dis" (a like-minded and worthy challenger to the massively successful "Pump up the Volume") but here, the 2013 BTB offer a cool, calm soundtrack for cruising the spaceways with wistful lyrics and bittersweet moods.
Bomb the Bass ist ein 1987 von Tim Simenon gegründetes britisches Musikprojekt, dessen höchste Chartplatzierung die Single Beat Dis war. Außerdem betätigte sich Simenon unter dem Pseudonym Bomb the Bass als Produzent und Remixer u. a. für Depeche Mode, Björk, Neneh Cherry, U2 und David Bowie.
