Edward Stanley, 3rd Earl of Derby KG (c. 10 May 1509 – 24 October 1572) was an English nobleman and politician. He succeeded his father as Lord of Mann until his death, and then was succeeded by his son.

He served as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs twice, from 1866 to 1868 and from 1874 to 1878, and also twice as Colonial Secretary in 1858 and from 1882 to 1885.
Edward Richard William Stanley, 19th Earl of Derby, DL (born 10 October 1962) is a British hereditary peer and landowner. He was a member of the House of Lords from 1994 to 1999.
