III Wishes is the third album by the group Shooting Star. This is the band's first album without keyboardist Bill Guffey, who had departed from the band the previous year.
The band’s third album, released in the US during the summer of 1982. Several singles were promoted, including Where You Gonna Run , Heartache and Weary Eyes . The song “Do You Feel Alright” charted on Billboard magazine’s ‘album oriented’ Rock Tracks airplay chart in September of that year.

In 1982, Shooting Star released their third album, III Wishes (July 1982), then returned to touring with such acts as REO Speedwagon, John Mellencamp, Jefferson Starship, Kansas, and others. 1983 saw the release of their fourth album, Burning (June 1983).
