Gerard da Cunha (born 1955) is an Indian architect based in Goa. He is the founder and principal architect of the architecture firm Architecture Autonomous. An alumnus of the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, he is known for utilizing locally available materials and traditional construction techniques in harmony with its ecosystem. [1]

I recently visited architect Gerrad da Cunha's office and few works by him on the weekend. Thought of sharing some insights. For those who don't know him, he is an architect based in Goa, known for his use of local site materials and unique traditional construction techniques.

15. Juli 2020 · Gerard Da Cunha. When he was a third-year student of Architecture at the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, Gerard took a one year break to travel to Kerala and assist the famous architect, Laurie Baker the renowned ‘Gandhi of Architecture’.
