"Rev It Up" is a song by American musician Jerry Harrison, performed with his band Casual Gods. Written by Harrison, John Sieger, and Ernie Brooks, the song features a prominent guitar riff created by Harrison and Alex Weir of American funk band the Brothers Johnson.
Jeremiah Griffin Harrison (born February 21, 1949) is an American musician, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. He began his professional music career as a member of the band the Modern Lovers , before becoming keyboardist and guitarist for the new wave group Talking Heads . [2]
