B.T. Express (originally named Brooklyn Transit Express) was an American funk / disco group that had a number of successful songs during the 1970s. [1] Background. According to a Record World article in March, 1975, the King Davis House Rockers begat the Madison Street Express which begat Brothers Trucking which begat B.T. Express.

B.T. Express forged a formidable reputation as one of the world’s best disco/funk outfits, clocking up 10 R&B hit singles and seven top 50 R&B albums during their highly-acclaimed career. The BBR label has packaged 31 of the band’s cuts onto two-discs; a comprehensive anthology selected from all seven of the group’s studio albums.
B.T. stands for Brooklyn Transit. They released seven albums between 1974 and 1982, with the group lasting until 1987. Their biggest hits are their first classic "Do It Till You're Satisfied", along with "Express", and "Does It Feel Good".
