John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (born 14 July 1947) is a property developer and former Chairman of the Watermark Group, son of Sir Richard Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 2nd Baronet, and Nancy Moireach Malcolmson.
The Gough-Calthorpe family is descended from ancient and notable families who both held lands in the area around Birmingham, England . Sir Henry Gough, 1st Baronet, Member of Parliament, (1709–1774) was made a baronet in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1728.
John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe is Chairman of the Duke of Newcastle Trusts and the Weller Poley Trusts and sits as a trustee/consultant for five other family trusts. Jo is currently a non-executive director of the Ellis Campbell Group and Hintlesham Holdings Ltd and is a trustee of the Elvetham Charitable Trust and the Newcastle Charitable Trust.
Isabella Amaryllis Charlotte Calthorpe, known by intimates as Bellie, was born on 3 March 1980 in Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. She is the daughter of John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe and Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon.
