Sakīna bint al-Ḥusayn (Arabic: سكينة بنت الحسين) (between 667 and 671 CE – 8 April 735), also known as Āmina (Arabic: آمنة), was a descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. She was the daughter of Husayn ibn Ali, the third Shia Imam, and Rubab bint Imra al-Qais.
Sakina bint Husain ist eine Tochter von Imam Husain (a.). Ihr Name bedeutet Seelenfrieden. Nach manchen Quellen war ihr eigentlicher Name Fatima, gemäß anderen Quellen hieß sie Aamina oder Amina, wie es Scheich Abbas Qummi in seinem Buch "Nafas Al-Mahmum" erwähnt.

Zainab bint Ali summoned Imam Zain-ul-Abideen to check the status of Sakinah as they thought she had fallen unconscious. When Ali ibn Hussain went over to check on Sakinah, he noticed she had stopped breathing. All the ladies were crying standing around Sakinah. Sakinah was buried in the same dungeon.
