CAPA’s Education & Engagement programs enrich the lives of Central Ohio residents by providing free and low-cost creative experiences that are varied, diverse and accessible. We believe everyone in our community deserves to experience the transformative power of the arts and our many community collaborations enable us to fulfill that belief.
Students identified as gifted in the arts are eligible to apply for selective enrollment to Duxberry Park Elementary, Arts Impact Middle School, and Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School. Students will receive a selective enrollment letter in early January of each year.
SCPA is a world-class public K-12 arts school where dedicated students prepare for a lifelong involvement in artistic and scholastic pursuits. The mission of SCPA is to foster independent thinking in a creative and challenging environment.
Plays, musicals, cabaret skits, improvisation—Academy children get many opportunities to shine in the spotlight and back stage. Performance is not an extra-curricular activity at Academy but an essential part of a student’s personal and academic growth, teaching accountability and instilling confidence in their talents.
