Nashville war der erste Schritt zum Country-Rock-Stil. Zusammen mit Great Speckled Bird veröffentlichten Ian & Sylvia das gleichnamige Album Great Speckled Bird, welches für lange Zeit das letzte von Vanguard Records sein sollte. Das Album gilt als eines der klangvollsten des Duos.
Ian & Sylvia were a Canadian folk and country music duo which consisted of Ian and Sylvia Tyson. They began performing together in 1959 (full-time in 1961), married in 1964, and divorced and stopped performing together in 1975.
