Asmāʾ bint ʿUmays (Arabic: أَسْمَاء بِنْت عُمَيْس) was a female companion of Muhammad. She is known for having married three famous companions of Muhammad, namely, Ja'far ibn Abi Talib , [1] Abu Bakr , and Ali .
