Nov. 2016 · The powerful drumming of Herman Rarebell was a major ingredient in what turned out to be the most commercially successful era of the Scorpions (the 1980’s), a period in which he also co-penned some of their most classic tracks ( Rock You Like a Hurricane, Blackout, Another Piece of Meat, etc.).
Herman Rarebell from Saarland counts absolutely to the fluorescent drummer's personalities of the rock music. In 1977 he got in Scorpions and was honoured since that time not only with the volume from Hannover with numerous gold and platinum honourings. In 2005 he founded with Pete York and Charly Antolini just this Around Legends trio.

Rarebell played drums from 1965 with the band The Mastermen, from 1968 with The Fuggs Blues and RS Rindfleisch, with whom he released one single and performed in the clubs of the US military throughout Germany.
Herman Rarebell began his life on the 18th of November 1949 in Saarbrucken, Germany, his zodiac sign being Scorpio. By the age of 12 his passion for drumming was so extreme that he would practice on anything available, including an old sloped chair.
