  3. Far From Home - Boys Of The Lough. Tich Richardson was an exponent of the Swing-based guitar accompaniment that derives from Django Reinhardt and other jazz players between the wars and was played by ‘Peerie’ Willie Johnson in Shetland over many decades afterwards.

  4. Other members over the ensuing years included Dave’s brother, the late Tich Richardson, and two more Irishmen – piper and singer Christy O’Leary and pianist John Coakley.

  5. Tich Richardson was a guitarist and bassist from Northumberland, England, and a member of The Boys Of The Lough from 1979 until his death in September 1984, he died in a car accident. His brother is Dave Richardson. Boys Of The Lough dedicated their 1996 album "Far From Home" to him.
