André Weinfeld is a producer, director, writer, cinematographer and journalist who worked with French New Wave and rock and roll legends. He also produced and directed fitness and yoga videos with Raquel Welch and moved to the USA in 1977.

On July 5, 1980, she married producer André Weinfeld in Cabo San Lucas. In early February 1983, while vacationing in Mustique, Welch suffered a miscarriage three months into her pregnancy. Her marriage to Weinfeld ended in August 1990.
