1. Juli 1983 · Ursprünglich begleitete „Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks“ (1983) eine Doku über die Mondlandung. Obwohl die Kompositionen federleicht wirken, steckt hinter ihnen die reibungsvolle Wechselwirkung dreier Genies: Eno selbst, sein Bruder Roger Eno und Multiinstrumentalist Daniel Lanois.
»Apollo: Atmospheres And Soundtracks« erschien im Juli 1983. Eno schrieb und produzierte die Patte gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Roger und Daniel Lanois, ursprünglich für den Dokumentarfilm »For All Mankind«. Für die Neuauflage wurden alle Tracks von Miles Showell (Abbey Road) neu gemastert.
