Damon Minchella (* 1. Juni 1969 in Liverpool) ist ein britischer Bassist und Songschreiber. Gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Steve Cradock spielte er mehrere Jahre live und als Studiomusiker für Paul Weller, bis die beiden 1992 mit Ocean Colour Scene ihre eigene Band gründeten.

After splitting with bassist Damon Minchella, the band continued to record and perform. Releases in 2001 ( Mechanical Wonder ), 2003 ( North Atlantic Drift ), 2005 ( A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad ) and 2007 ( On the Leyline ) continued the trend of releasing new material every two years.

2003 verließ Damon Minchella nach einem Streit Ocean Colour Scene. Er spielte danach lange für Paul Weller und startete eigene Projekte. Stone-Roses -Bassist Gary Mounfield ersetzte ihn zwischenzeitlich auf der Tour 2003, dann kamen Dan Sealey als Bassist und Andy Bennett als weiterer Gitarrist neu hinzu.
