19. Sept. 2013 · Formed in 1991 by Steven Seibold, Hate Dept. has dealt in punk-infused electronic rock across five full-length releases, many of which became standard fare for the industrial rock movement.
In 2004, a resurrected Damage Manual without Walker and Wobble found Steven Seibold of the band Hate Dept. providing guitar and bass. The revised band released the full length record Limited Edition.
26. Feb. 2019 · Standalone, the synthesizer driven new-wave solo project project from Steven Seibold of Hate Dept and Pigface, has just released its self-titled debut album through Negative Gain Records.
It has been six years since Steven Seibold has released any new material under the mantle of Hate Dept., having released the acclaimed New Ghost album in 2013 and a trio of remix collections the following year; additionally, Seibold performed in 2019 with Hate Dept. at the Mechanismus festival.
