On 9 December 2022, they released a two-track single "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" in support of Care After Combat, a charity for British combat veterans.

Rudy Richman. Lone Justice is an American country rock band formed in 1982 by guitarist Ryan Hedgecock and singer Maria McKee in Los Angeles. The band released two albums, Lone Justice in 1985 and Shelter the following year, before disbanding in 1987.

Apr. 2023 · As a war of words between the two camps escalated, Spike signed former members Bailey, bassist Nigel Mogg, keyboard player Chris Johnstone and drummer Rudy Richman up for a one-off show at London’s Islington Academy in December 2022, performing as "Quireboys" as his former band "The" Quireboys proceeded with their own plans.
Now, with original first line-up band members Guy Bailey, Nigel Mogg and Chris Johnstone alongside Rudy Richman, Spike has returned with this new iteration, shortening the name to Quireboys.
