Since the 1970s, Driscoll has concentrated on experimental vocal music. She married jazz musician Keith Tippett and collaborated with him and now uses the name Julie Tippetts, adopting the original spelling of her husband's surname.

Feb. 2017 · The final collaboration between singer Julie Driscoll (by that time dubbed as "The Face" by the British music weeklies) and Brian Auger's Trinity was Streetnoise in 1969, an association that had begun in 1966 with Steampacket, a band that also featured Rod Stewart and Long John Baldry.
7. Dez. 2019 · Streetnoise was an unpredictable mish-mash of anything (and it was awesome), but this is a jazz album with some funky vibes (also pretty awesome). Julie Driscoll Tippets is really great, and Auger rivals Emerson when he wants to.
17. Apr. 2021 · This band only put out two albums, "Open" in 1967 and the double album "Streetnoise" in 1969. But they did a lot of other songs together, enough for me to put together two stray tracks albums together. This is the first one.
