St. Patrick's Seminary and University (STPSU) in Menlo Park, California, is a Roman Catholic undergraduate and graduate seminary whose primary mission is the formation of priests for dioceses in California and the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

He is a first-time pastor at St. Patrick church, where he has found a great community of friars, parishioners, and staff since his arrival in November 2016. At the invitation of the Diocese, he was glad to start a Catholic campus ministry at Columbus State Community College in Fall 2021. On his day off, Fr. Alcott enjoys taking hikes at the Metro Parks in the area.
