  5. History. The album is mostly a collection of demos and tracks originally intended for release in 1978-9 under the title Commercial Breaks. The original release was held back because of disputes between Harper and EMI over funding and content and resultantly, it was not until the release of Loony on the Bus in 1988 that most of the ...

  6. (It was not until Harper's 1988 release Loony on the Bus that some of these songs became officially available, and another six years until the album was finally released as Commercial Breaks (1994)). In 1980 Harper released The Unknown Soldier , which was indeed his final Harvest release.

  7. A dispute between EMI and Harper prevented the planned release of this album Harvest SHSP 4077 though a few test pressings do exist. The album cover features logos, products and advertising, primarily from television commercials of the era. Most visible are the Smash Martian, Honey Monster, Michelin Man and a large pack of Wrigleys gum.
