  3. After a four-year absence from the music scene Paula prepared to return to the spotlight with her new album “Head Over Heels”, a bold departure from her first two studio albums. The album was hoped to bring Abdul back into the limelight and was considered Abdul's comeback album.

  4. There were no less than five—“If I Were Your Girl,” “I Never Knew It,” “Missing You,” “Cry for Me,” and “Highschool Crush”—housed on Head Over Heels. This downtempo quintet is as gorgeously arranged in warm adult contemporary tones, strings, and similar production ornamentation as the Spellbound foursome was.

Color Me Badd is an American contemporary R&B group that was formed in 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by lead singer Bryan Abrams (born November 16, 1969), tenor Mark Calderon (born September 27, 1970), second tenor Sam Watters (born July 23, 1970) and baritone Kevin Thornton (born June 17, 1969). Color Me Badd broke up in 1998 before reuniting in 2010, with various lineups since.

  6. Best cuts are the ones released as singles: ethnic sounding "My Love Is For Real", ultra funky "Crazy Cool" and "Ain't Never Gonna Give You Up" (recorded with Color Me Badd). I enjoyed also: romantic ballad "Missing You", and "Under The Influence". The rest is rather forgettable.
