Ettore Fieramosca is an 1833 historical novel by the Italian writer Massimo D'Azeglio. It is based on the life of the condottiero Ettore Fieramosca (1476-1515). During the era of Italian unification , Fieramosca was revived as a national hero, a trend which the novel contributed to.

Massimo D'Azeglio wrote an 1833 novel Ettore Fieramosca, in an effort to boost Italian patriotism. In 1909 and again in 1915, he was the main subject of two Italian silent films, both named Ettore Fieramosca. In 1938, during the Fascist era, Alessandro Blasetti directed a sound film Ettore Fieramosca.

Fieramosca trat 1492 in die Dienste des neapolitanischen Königs Ferdinand II., für den er in den Italienischen Kriegen zunächst gegen die einfallenden Franzosen Karls VIII. kämpfte. 1497 zeichnete er sich zusammen mit seinem Bruder Guido bei Fermo aus, wo er die Burg von Offidia verteidigte.
