Years active. 1975–1978. Formerly of. The Babys. Michael John Siddons-Corby (born 3 July 1951) is a British former musician who was the founder of the 1970s hard rock group The Babys and responsible (along with manager Adrian Millar) for creating the band's concept.

Feb. 2023 · In 1974, Michael Corby was living in London and putting together The Babys – the band that would bring John Waite to the world's attention – when he happened to cross paths with Led Zeppelin. Little did he know he’d end up selling his favourite guitar to the day’s biggest guitar hero.
Starting in 2003, there was an attempt by original Babys founder Michael Corby (now living in Scotland) to reunite the classic lineup of himself, John Waite, Tony Brock and Wally Stocker. But this fell through when the other three were not interested.
