Vivienne Patricia Scialfa (/ ˈ s k æ l f ə / SKAL-fə; born July 29, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Scialfa has been a member of the E Street Band since 1984 and has been married to Bruce Springsteen since 1991. In 2014, Scialfa was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.

Biografie. Patti Scialfa ist seit 1991 die Ehefrau von Bruce Springsteen und bekannt als Background-Sängerin der E Street Band, in der sie auch Synthesizer und akustische Gitarre spielte. Sie leben in Colts Neck und haben drei Kinder, darunter die Springreiterin Jessica Springsteen. Scialfa ist seit 2023 selten bei Livekonzerten anwesend.
Along with Lisa Lowell and Soozie Tyrell, she started up a trio entitled Trickster. Other artists and groups she worked with included Cats on a Smooth Surface, David Johansen (a.k.a. Buster Poindexter), and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
Her first spin in the E Street orbit came when she formed the group Trickster with Lisa Lowell and Patti Scialfa and in 1980, she began performing with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. She spent the ’80s leading her own country band and working with David Johansen’s alter ego Buster Poindexter; yes, that’s her on “Hot Hot Hot.”
