The Isley Brothers (/ ˈ aɪ z l i / EYEZ-lee) are an American musical group originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, that began as a vocal trio consisting of the brothers O'Kelly Isley Jr., Rudolph Isley and Ronald Isley in the 1950s.
O'Kelly Isley was a member of the legendary R&B group the Isley Brothers, who wrote and performed hits like \"Shout\", \"It's Your Thing\" and \"Fight the Power\". He died in 1986 and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992.
