This album is dedicated to Charlie Parker, a saxophonist who was an essential figure in the development of bebop before his passing on March 12, 1955, at the age of 34.
Homage To Charles Parker - This track is Lewis' tribute to the spirit and accomplishments of Charlie Parker. (Alongside the album art) I believe this is his way of expressing musical love. This piece is a bunch of individual solos based around ideas of the early bop movement.
