Ian Christopher Stanley (born 28 February 1957) is a British musician, songwriter and record producer. He was a member of Tears for Fears for most of the 1980s, and played a key role in the making of their multi-platinum-selling second studio album Songs from the Big Chair.

29. Juli 2018 · Charismatic Australian golfer Ian Stanley, who was a prolific winner on his home tour before making his mark on the European seniors circuit, has died aged 69.
Enjoyed the finest season of his career in 2001 when he claimed two outstanding victories on his way to heading the European Seniors Tour Order of Merit. Won both The Senior British Open Championship, presented by MasterCard, and the De Vere PGA Seniors Championship on his way to winning the John Jacobs Trophy, but has since suffered health problems and has struggled to emulate that form.
