  7. Teddy Edwards (Theodore Marcus Edwards, * 26. April 1924 in Jackson, Mississippi; † 20. April 2003 in Los Angeles) war ein Tenorsaxophonist und Bandleader des Blues und Modern Jazz. Leben und Wirken. Mit 16 Jahren spielte Edwards als Altsaxophonist und Klarinettist in Detroit, wo er mit Wardell Gray, Hank Jones und Sonny Stitt zusammentraf.
