Marmara University Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences aims at producing highly qualified scientific publications which are both theoretical and empirical and related to fields of economics, management and political science.
The Department of Economics was established in 1983 under the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Marmara University and has become one of the leading economics departments in Turkey.
The Act No. 41 of July 1982 joined all faculties that emerged as a result of these changes under the ‘Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences' of Marmara University, and this institution has become a full-fledged university under the Council of Higher Education of Turkey.
