Smekkleysa SM, also known as Bad Taste, is a group of artists and musicians who create and distribute their own work independently. Learn about their history, from the radio show Áfangar to the band Kukl, the photocopy poets, and the street theatre Sirkusdútl.
Smekkleysa (dt. „Geschmacklosigkeit“), auch als Bad Taste bekannt, ist ein isländisches Musiklabel. Das 1986 gegründete Unternehmen mit Sitz in Reykjavík zählt durch die (Erst-)Veröffentlichung der Werke von Bands wie The Sugarcubes, múm und Sigur Rós zu den wichtigsten Labels Islands.
